C.J Jamieson Medal joint winners
The CJ Jamieson Medal for the A Grade Best and Fairest player saw a tie for the first time since 2004. Fremantle CBC’s Christopher Basile and University’s Hamish Murray were joint winners of the award.

WA All Abilities Football Association established
Due to the growth of Integrated Football, the League established the WA All Abilities Football Association as a charity to grow disability football in WA.

State Football
The WAAFL State U23 Amateur Team defeat WA Country Football League by twenty-four points at Fremantle Oval to break a nine-year drought.

Integrated Football
WAAFL Integrated fielded a team in the AFL National Inclusion Carnival in Melbourne. The team defeated South Australia and the Northern Territory. Fillip Ranieri and Raphael Gould were named in the All Australian Team.

Facebook followers grew to 9,833 an increase of 12.5%, while Twitter followers increased by 7.8%. The WAAFL Instagram account now has 1,178 followers an increase of 15.7%.
