Representative Football - All Abilities

All abilities football in WA has its origins in 2008/09 where several Perth Football League clubs identified a need for players with an intellectual disability who love the game of footy. The program was launched as Integrated Football.

Integrated Football grew and evolved from Come-N-Try Days to facilitating a yearly football competition with players part of local Perth Football League clubs. Today, the program retains its participation and development origins but has a strong competitive element where players can strive and have the same opportunities as abled players.

In 2013, an All-Stars match was launched which was played as a curtain-raiser to an AFL match.  The All Stars match created a development pathway opportunity for players to represent their state and in 2015 a WA State Team was first selected to participate at the AFL National Inclusion Carnival in Melbourne.
