2004
Major sponsors secured
Entered into a three year major sponsorship agreement with Carlton United Beverages which resulted in the League and Clubs sharing in substantial cash and product benefits.
Colts grades change name with West Coast Eagles sponsorship
Finalised a formal sponsorship agreement with the West Coast Eagles with funds being directed towards the Colts competition and the U/23 State team. Colts grades represent former West Coast Eagles players who started their senior football in the League.
State football changes to U/23
Establishment of the successful U/23 State team concept which was supported by CUB and the West Coast Eagles who in addition also sponsored our Colts competition. The team had successful games against the U/23 Sun-day Football League team and the open age State Country Football League team. Unfortunately the boys were not up to the game against Victoria when they travelled to Melbourne in June this year. Apart from the first quarter the team acquitted themselves well both on and off the field.
Office renovations
Successfully negotiated with the WAFC to enable much needed office renovations to take place. These renovations, completed just after the season finished, will enable our staff to be more efficient and thus be able to offer a higher level of service to all Clubs who come into the office or in deed phone through.
iScore Competition software programme
Continued to upgrade and enhance the iScore Competition software programme which can now supply accurate data on all facets of our League and provides easy access to Clubs and the public for results and ladders throughout the year. There are still enhancements to be implemented and these will further assist us to administer the competition in 2005. We thank Graham Hill, Managing Director of Metisc Computing, for his Company’s ongoing sponsorship and commitment to providing the iScore system to Amateur Football.
