Passing of Chief Executive Officer, Ron Webster
The sudden and tragic passing of our beloved and greatly respected Chief Executive Officer Ron Webster, before the start of our 85th season.  Since his appointment, through his vast experience in football, hospitality and business, he had with the co-direction and support of the Board, worked the Amateurs into a very professional football organisation. We are indebted to his ability to have achieved the results he did in such a short time.

WA beat Vics
State pride was again on the line with the State U23s AAFC Carnival in June in Victoria. WA recorded a historic win against Victoria (VAFA) for the first time in their state. Nine WA players and coach, Wayne Langborne, should also be congratulated for achieving All Australian selections.
