If you go to Richard Guelfi oval in Balcatta or are at a Stirling Amateur Football Club match it is more than likely you will see Guy Zaiti.

In 1980, Guy joined AICA and has since clocked up nearly 35 years at what is now known as the Stirling Amateur Football Club where he is a Life Member. 

Guy’s contribution to the League is seen with his 18 continuous years with our State 23s and Colts teams. He has held various roles as runner, property manager, assistant team manager and water carrier, and at times doing all these roles on the same day.

He is the person that works behind the scenes without fuss. When the players are having dinner and are in bed, he is still washing jumpers and getting ready for the next day’s matches. When everybody has left the airport he is still packing his Tarago with rub down benches, water containers and medical equipment.

Guy is an extremely humble person, the ultimate volunteer and a great ambassador of what amateur football is all about.
