1933

Mr J.L Robson was re-appointed as President and Mr J.D Chapman as Secretary upon the resignation of Mr R.B Flanagan. Mr W.C.P Amies, Mr A. Sandover, Mr R.B Henkel, Mr B.J Flanagan, Mr R. de Pedro, Dr L, McMillan, Mr J. Orr and Mr W. Stoohe were elected as Vice-Presidents.

Applications from Fremantle CBC with the Fremantle Trotting grounds as their home ground and Canning Districts, with the Cannington Oval as their home ground be admitted to join Commonwealth Bank, Postal Institute, Fogs & Gibson, Old Modernians, University, Hurlingham and Gosnells.

The Canning Districts nomination was later rescinded due to the WANFL admitting that its inability to make grounds available to the association should Canning Districts be accepted, which in turn would leave the association in a position of having insufficient to run its fixtures. Canning Districts were informed and given its assurance that this action was a result of circumstances beyond its immediate control.

A Grounds and Fixture Committee, to deal also with umpires applications, of Messers Breen, Jones & Kneebone was appointed, who were given the power to arrange all fixtures and report back to the delegates on umpires recommendations for consideration.

The district restriction of the suburban clubs were gifted while the umpires fees were reduced from $1.10 ($2.10) to 17/6 ($1.75) but were to remain at $1.10 for the finals and Grand final.

Mr W.R Orr was asked to lecture the umpires on goal line decisions & non-cooperation with goal umpires and out of bounds rule, the Secretary was asked to liaise with St John Ambulance to have their men attend various matches. The matter of insurance of players was raised & delegates were left to enquire and report back at a later meeting.

The President and Secretary were endorsed to communicate with a Mr J.T McCann of Victoria relative to the formation of an Australian Amateur Football Council and while doing so consult with the WANFL and check how it may effect the associations application with it.

It was arranged that a social evening for delegates to be arranged with each member to subscribe 2/6 (25c) & balance to be paid from associations funds. Presentation of trophies etc to take place.
