1931

Due to the Association affiliating with WA Amateur Sports Clubs, meetings were able to be held in their rooms rather than in previous years in the Commonwealth Bank Club rooms or those of the WANFL.

Mr G Hearn continued as President and Mr R.S Price as Secretary/Treasurer, while Mr W.R (BIlly) Orr remained Patron.

Vice Presidents were Mr R.S Sampson M.L.A, Mr A Sandover, Mr R.B Henkel, Mr S Armstrong, Mr J.C Adlard, Mr J Orr and Mr J Shearer.

Mr E Hiller & Mr A.L Casper continued as the Honorary Auditors.

Participating clubs were Modernian Old Boys, Harris Scarfe & Sandovers, Postal institute, University and Gosnells who agreed to admit a Hurlingham club provided their members were solely from the the South Perth Road Board and that they guarantee to provide change rooms at their ground.

The Commonwealth Bank advising that they would not be submitting a team.

Application fees to remain at $1.10 ($2.10) per team with a deposit of $2 ($4) to be paid. Player registration fees to be fixed at 6d (5c).

Goode Durrant and Shell Football Clubs applied for admission to the Association but were regrettably informed that owing to the acute ground position were unable to be admitted.

Permits, clearances and umpires continued to be confirmed and/or appointed by the delegates.

It was resolved that all matches commence at 3pm and be four quarters of 25 minutes.

The finals format to change to consist of a 1st Semi Final between 1st and 2nd teams, 2nd Semi Final between 3rd and 4th teams with a Preliminary Final between the loser of the 1st Semi Final and the winner of the 2nd Semi Final. The Grand Final to be between the winner of the 2nd Semi-final and the winner of the Preliminary Final.

The Secretary outlined a plan for an informal evening at the final meeting for the presentation of trophies.

Mr R.S Sampson made presentation of a medal for the Fairest & Best player, and Mr Williams and Mr Armstrong were appointed volunteers of the ballot.
