Rick Ardon

Rick is most recognised as part of the World’s longest on-air duo with long-time co-presenter Susannah Carr, that in 2015 celebrated three decades consecutively as co-anchors for 7 News Perth.

An accomplished journalist, Rick began his media career at The West Australian newspaper where he was awarded Cadet Journalist of the Year in 1977.

In 1978, he moved to Channel 7 (TVW 7) as a news journalist before being promoted to news presenter.

Rick played near 400 amateur games for Nollamara, Teacher’s College Churchlands and West Coast Cowan.
