Dr Neale Fong

Neale has a long history in football and health in WA.  

As of 2020, he is Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of Bethesda Health Care, Chair of the Western Australian Country Health Service Board and Managing Director of his own consulting company.

He is a former Director General of the WA Department of Health having worked with governments in health reform.

He was also a Director and the Chair of Youth Vision WA from 1990- 2015, having completed 41 years in youth work in the Churches of Christ.

Neale played for Nollamara between 1981-1985 and 1987-1989 after short stints as West Perth Football Club in the WAFL.

He won the League’s C.J Jamieson Medal for the Best and Fairest player in A-Grade on three occasions 1981, 1982 and 1983. He has represented the WA State Amateur Team three times and captained the team in 1984.

He was recognised in the League’s Hall of Champions in 2014.

Neale served as Chairman - WA Football Commission for nine years from 1999 to 2010.
